One Piece Odyssey is a video game developed by Bandai Namco. As the name suggests, this is a game for the worldwide popular anime series, One Piece. Here, you can roleplay the Strawhats pirates as they go on an adventure across the sea.

One Piece Odyssey will have you exploring new locales to crack hidden mysteries. Of course, it will also introduce new characters. More than exploration, the game also comes with turn-based combat that has a UI reminiscent of the Persona games. However, you will be disappointed to know that the game only comes with single-player support.

The Strawhats new adventure

One Piece Odyssey is a new JRPG for the massively popular anime One Piece. As mentioned, this game allows you to play as the Strawhat Pirates—Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Sanji, Ussop, Nami, Chopper, Robin, Franky, and Brook—as they go on an adventure on a mysterious island. You will meet powerful enemies and encounter raging nature and strange locales as you explore more.

The game features colorful turn-based combat that features a rock-paper-scissors system. However, this time, fists beat guns, guns beat swords, and swords beat fists. The game also introduces new characters, including the mysterious girl Lim, who hates pirates, and Adio, a drifter and explorer. Like the manga and anime, this game also features bizarre-looking creatures, such as giant fire-breathing lions and giant scorpions.

As with other One Piece games, this one allows you to use the powerful attacks of each of the Strawhat members. You can even perform combination attacks with other party members if certain conditions are met. However, as noted, the game only comes with single-player support. It has no multiplayer modes available. Moreover, you can only play one of the members of the pirate crew at a time.

You can also explore a new locale and meet new characters. However, you can only play one crew member at a time—although you can fight alongside other members.
